Invisalign® Aligns Chicago Smiles Without the Hardware

Crowe Dental Associates is a licensed general and cosmetic dental practice at 30 N. Michigan Ave, Suite 1405, Chicago, Illinois 60602, offering Invisalign® clear aligner therapy to adults and teens across Chicago and the surrounding suburbs since 1984.

Invisalign® uses a series of custom-fabricated clear plastic aligner trays worn in sequence to gradually shift teeth into alignment. They're removable for eating and brushing and virtually invisible during wear. Most adults and many teens prefer clear aligners because they don't change how you look day to day and there are no food restrictions. If you've been thinking about straighter teeth but don't want brackets and wires, Invisalign® is worth a conversation.

What the Invisalign® Treatment Journey Looks Like

1. Your Assessment and Smile Scan Establish the Baseline.

At your initial consultation, we take a 3D digital scan of your teeth that maps their current positions and models the projected movement through your treatment plan.

2. Custom Aligners Are Fabricated to Your Exact Tooth Map.

Based on your digital treatment plan, a full series of precision-fit clear aligner trays is fabricated in a lab and calibrated to move your teeth incrementally toward the target position.

3. You Wear Each Tray Set for Approximately Two Weeks.

Each aligner set is worn 20 to 22 hours per day and removed only for eating, drinking anything other than water, and brushing and flossing.

4. Regular Check-ins Keep Your Progress on Track.

You'll visit Crowe Dental Associates periodically so we can confirm your teeth are moving as planned and hand off the next set of trays in your sequence.

5. Retainer Wear Protects Your Result Long-Term.

After your final aligner set, custom retainers are made to hold your teeth in their new positions and prevent them from drifting back toward where they started.

Invisalign® Corrects a Wide Range of Bite and Alignment Issues

If you're bothered by crowded teeth, noticeable gaps, or a bite that feels off, you may be a good candidate for Invisalign®. The system corrects mild to moderate crowding, spacing, overbite, underbite, crossbite, and open bite. Most patients notice the issues in photos or when smiling—the kind of thing that has quietly bothered them for years but never felt urgent enough to address with traditional braces.

Patients with severe bite discrepancies or more complex orthodontic needs may be better served by traditional braces or a specialist referral. A consultation at Crowe Dental Associates will give you a clear answer on which path is right for you — no guesswork, no pressure.

Forty Years of Clinical Depth Behind Every Invisalign® Case

Choosing an established Chicago practice over a direct-to-consumer or discount aligner service means in-person oversight at every stage, adjustments when needed, and a relationship with a dentist who can also address any findings identified during treatment. We offer our full range of dental services under one roof, so nothing falls through the cracks.
