Chicago's Family Dentist Since 1984
A family-operated dental practice rooted in Chicago's Loop for over 40 years.
A Chicago Practice Built Over Four Decades
Crowe Dental Associates was founded in 1984 by Dr. Mary P. Crowe and Dr. Cameron F. Crowe as a family-operated dental office at 30 N. Michigan Ave Suite 1405, Chicago, IL 60602. From day one, they built the practice around one idea: deliver honest, thorough dental care to Chicago families the same way you'd want it done for your own. More than 40 years later, we're still at the same address, still family-run, and still seeing patients who've trusted us across generations.
Dr. Mary P. Crowe — General and Cosmetic Dentistry
Dr. Mary P. Crowe is co-founder and lead clinician at Crowe Dental Associates. Her clinical focus covers cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, and facial esthetics. She has practiced from the Michigan Avenue location since the doors opened in 1984, building long-term relationships with patients across Chicago and the surrounding communities.
As an active faculty instructor with the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE), Dr. Mary Crowe trains other dentists in Botox and Daxxify techniques — which means patients here receive these treatments from someone who also teaches them. Her completion of the Implant Masters Class at the Advanced Dental Implant Research and Education Center (AIC) brings implant expertise to this practice that many general offices simply don't offer. Ongoing advanced coursework at the Kois Institute reflects a sustained investment in evidence-based clinical methods that directly shapes how she treats every patient.
Dr. Mary Crowe holds memberships in the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Chicago Dental Society, the Illinois Dental Society, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
Dr. Cameron F. Crowe — Comprehensive Family Dentistry
Dr. Cameron F. Crowe is co-founder and active practicing dentist at Crowe Dental Associates. His clinical focus is comprehensive family and general dentistry, and he delivers the full range of preventive and restorative care at the practice. He has worked alongside Dr. Mary Crowe since they opened the Michigan Avenue office in 1984.
Dr. Cameron Crowe's dental education and broad clinical experience across general and restorative dentistry form the foundation of his patient care. His ongoing advanced coursework at the Kois Institute deepens that foundation with evidence-based methods, ensuring that every patient at Crowe Dental Associates benefits from both decades of hands-on experience and continued learning.
Dr. Cameron Crowe is a member of the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, and the Illinois Dental Society, maintaining professional ties that keep him connected to the broader dental community.
Dr. Robert S. Deaver — Retired
Dr. Robert S. Deaver served Crowe Dental Associates and the patients of Chicago with dedication and skill throughout his long tenure with the practice. His contributions helped shape the culture of care that continues today. We honor his retirement and are grateful for everything he brought to this office and to the families he treated.
Questions Patients Ask Before Booking
Is Crowe Dental Associates still a family-run practice, or has it been acquired by a corporate dental group?
Crowe Dental Associates has always been privately owned and family-operated. Dr. Mary P. Crowe and Dr. Cameron F. Crowe co-founded the practice in 1984 and continue to lead it today. No corporate group owns or manages this office. The dentists you see are the same people who run the practice.
What advanced training or certifications do the dentists at Crowe Dental Associates hold?
Dr. Mary P. Crowe holds faculty instructor status with the American Academy of Facial Esthetics and completed the Implant Masters Class at the Advanced Dental Implant Research and Education Center. Both doctors pursue ongoing advanced coursework at the Kois Institute, one of the most respected evidence-based continuing education programs in dentistry.
Do you accept new patients, and what does a first visit at Crowe Dental Associates typically involve?
Yes, we welcome new patients. A first visit typically includes a comprehensive exam, digital X-rays as needed, a review of your dental and health history, and a conversation about any concerns you have. We take time to understand your goals before recommending any treatment. You leave knowing exactly where your dental health stands.
Why do patients travel from Chicago's suburbs all the way to the Michigan Avenue office instead of seeing a dentist closer to home?
Many of our patients have been coming to this address for years and aren't looking to change. For others, the combination of a long-standing family practice, advanced credentials in implants and facial esthetics, and a Michigan Avenue location that's accessible by train makes the commute worthwhile. Patients tell us consistency and trust are the main reasons they stay.
